"Yes," Keesha insisted, her head bobbing with laughter. "You know, melts in your mouth, not in your hands?"
Jason stared at her blankly. He was still learning the world around him and Keesha sometimes forgot that certain things were harder for him to understand. Humor was one of them.
"When I said 'M&M's', that was a play on words, a reference to what we tried last night."
He thought back to the many things they had tried for the first time last night. He compared each to the slogan she'd quoted, discarding them one by one. When he thought of the one he'd enjoyed most, his eyes widened in understanding.
Keesha smiled. Now he understood.
"I get it," Jason nodded. Without warning, he swept her up in his arms and headed for the bedroom. Laying her gently on the bed, he growled, "Snickers."
